In 2015, Paul James celebrated an incredible 50 years in show business. The ‘Right Time, Right Place’ talk takes you through Paul’s journey as he reminisces about his days working for Brian Epstein and The Beatles, being the youngest ever Entertainments Manager for Pontins holiday camps and writing and starring in Summer shows for Butlins. He also talks about his time working at London’s famous London Palladium.

Paul James or “PJ the DJ” to his listeners was the voice of Saturday and Sunday radio for BBC Radio Kent. For 28 wonderful years he played the great music of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and shared stories of meeting and working with the stars of those eras.
Paul co-presented the show for 13 years with his dear friend Paul Harris. However in late 2013, the show was axed as the popular radio station wanted to “shake things up”.
